CVA is Both a Challenge and a Trading Opportunity
In the aftermath of the recent financial crisis, governments and regulators have responded by strengthening financial regulation, supervision and market infrastructure. Much of this regulation has focused on better managing and understanding risk position, in particular counterparty credit risk, which has been identified as a root cause of the crisis and one that should be tackled right away.
