Kathy Perrotte to remain engaged as board member and advisor
Transitional plan will build on company’s position as top provider of data analytics solutions to financial institutions
NEW YORK, September 4, 2024 – ActiveViam, a global provider of advanced data analytics and decision-making solutions for financial services organizations, announced today that its Board of Directors has unanimously elected Shelley Magee to succeed Kathy Perrotte as the company’s chief executive officer, effective immediately. Ms. Magee will join the Board of Directors, and Ms. Perrotte will remain on the Board and act as special advisor to the company.
To ensure a smooth transition, Ms. Magee and Ms. Perrotte will work closely together through the end of 2024.
Ms. Magee joins ActiveViam from Regnology, a provider of regulatory reporting solutions, where she has been chief operating officer, since 2022. During her tenure, she successfully implemented a data-driven strategy by introducing firm-wide analytics across all departments within the last three years. She fundamentally transformed the organization’s global operations while fostering a culture of transparency and accountability among all employees. Ms. Magee’s 20-year career began at Accenture, followed by leadership roles designing and implementing front-office trading solutions for global financial institutions – Citi, Morgan Stanley and Société Générale – and technology and product executive functions at Bloomberg and Itiviti.
Ms. Magee’s extensive Tier 1 sell-side network, leadership experience across high-level product and technology teams and deep understanding of the intersection of finance and technology will be pivotal in driving ActiveViam’s innovation roadmap and growth strategies. ActiveViam has built a strong position in the market, with half of the 30 largest banks worldwide – along with leading hedge funds, asset managers and exchanges – using its technology.
